August 1973: 45 miles from Bonneville Dam to Portland, OR. on the Columbia River.
March 1973: Won AAU Masters Swimming NW Regional Championships in 1650 yd freestyle.
July 1974: 100 miles from the Dalles to Portland on the Columbia River in 35 hours.
June 1975: 500 miles from Lewiston, Idaho to Astoria, Oregon on the Snake and Columbia Rivers in 10 days.
November 1975: 150 consecutive hour swim (6+ days) in the University of Oregon's pool.
June 1976: 700 miles on the "Mighty" Mississippi River from Minneapolis to St. Louis.
January 1977: 32° handcuffed swim without protection under ice in Potomac River.
April 1978: 114 miles, handcuffed on the Missouri River from Souix City, IA. to Omaha, Nebraska.
May 1978: 107 miles handcuffed on the Ohio River from Aurora, Ind. To Louisville, Kentucky.
September 1979: Towed 3500 lb. "Amphicar" across San Diego Bay with hands and feet tied.
November 1979: 31,000 yards in 24 hours with hands and feet tied in Fergus Falls, Minn. pool.
August 1980: English Channel - handcuffed
1981 - 1986: Numerous crossing of Puget Sound both normal swimming and handcuffed.
August '81 & '82: 2 crossings of the Straights of Juan de Fuca handcuffed. 2nd time in 8 hrs.
September 1983: 27 mile length of Lake Washington in Seattle, Wa. in 23 hours.
March 1984: 200 miles from Tacoma, WA. to Seattle, Wa.
April 1984: 60 miles from Cour d'Alene, ID. to Spokane, WA.
September 1984: 60 miles from Port Townsend to Seattle, WA.
